An amazing trip to visit Am Phu cave is the longest cave in Da Nang and the Marble mountains. Its name in Vietnamese means “the hell” because it was dark and a little scary in the past. The monks give its spacious chambers, small passages and natural formations a religious significance, very interesting to learn about. During the Vietnam war, Am Phu cave was the hiding place of Vietcong. Up the mountain, in the “paraside”, there are a couple of majestic bat caves and holy sites. In the remaining time of the trip, visitors also go to Linh Ung pagoda on Son Tra peninsula (called by Americans as the Monkey mountain). It’s built from 2004 to 2010 on a hill by the coastline and overlooks the city. This temple boasts of a Buddhist landmark – the Lady Buddha, visible from elsewhere in Da Nang. Lady Buddha is also known as the Goddess of mercy or Goddess of sea for fishermans.

- Explore the longest marble cave in Da Nang city, and the entire central Vietnam. Besides, other amazing caves in its mountain (Tang Chon cave, Huyen Khong cave), home of fantastic rock formations and living bats.
- Learn about local Buddhist culture in Am Phu cave and ancient temples in the rest of the Marble mountains.
- See up-close Vietnam’s tallest Lady Buddha statue that rises 67 meters from the surroundings, making it one of the best known landmarks in Da Nang.
- The biggest Buddhist temple in Da Nang on a peninsula where visitors can capture a panoramic view of the sea and the city.
7h30 – 8h00: We’ll pick you up at the hotel in Hoi An and transfer you to Da Nang city (around 30km).
8h15 - 8h30: Our van will pick you up at your hotel in Da Nang transfer you to Monkey Mountain. A giant statue of Lady Buddha with a beautiful background such as mountains and a huge garden of bonsai would draw your attention. You will definitely get lost in the garden of heaven with gripping stories when gently walking and enjoying a fresh breeze.
9h30 – 10h00: Discovery the Marble Mountains and stop for a walk along the site to see local factories of stone sculptures - the most impressive handicrafts village in Da Nang.
- Check in the Marble Mountains by climbing up to the top (elevator is optional). Here we will see beautiful pagodas which were made in the 19th century by the last dynasty of the Vietnam monarchy, and visit Huyền Không or Tàng Chơn Caves.
- Keep going to see the biggest fascinating cave named as Âm Phủ Cave. You will learn interesting philosophies of Buddhism and take photos with amazing natural creations.
11h45: Have lunch at a local restaurant with local and authentic Vietnamese cuisines.
After having lunch, transfer you back to your hotel in Da Nang and Hoi An.
12h45 - 13h00: Drop you off at your hotel in Da Nang city
13h40 - 13h50: Drop you off at your hotel in Hoi An.
